Somogy County

A Slovak Lutheran congregation existed here early in the 18th century and became an Articular Church, which meant it was one of the two legal Lutheran congregations in Somogy County.  Throughout its history there were German Lutherans who also lived in the town and were members of the congregation.  In addition there were others who lived in nearby Kápoly, Nagócs, Torváy, Totker, Kötcse, Somogydöröcske and Zics.
