Somogy County
This small community was established in a puszta east of Somogyszil in the late 18th century and attracted German Lutheran settlers, primarily from Somogydöröcske and Kötcse. All references to it are to be found in the Somogydöröcske Lutheran church records. When Gadács was established in its near vicinity the German Lutherans left Magyarod and re-settled there.
